Mr Yen Packaging

I have never really shown the packaging of the things I send out, but as I just received a new stamp I bought from Uguisu (The stamp is Japanese for Thank You) and I have new business cards, I thought It was time the packaging of Mr Yen was shown!

Every item I send out is wrapped in a delicate white tissue paper, taped together with some patterned Japanese washi tape and now they will all have my little stamp on them somewhere too! After this they are placed between pieces of grey board to protect them in the post, placed in an envelope - with a hand written thank you note, sealed with more tape and stamped with the Mr Yen logo stamp.

So, next time you order a papercut or stationery from Mr Yen, you will be able to see its a Mr Yen package before you even open it as you will see the stamp!

{Late WIP}

Firstly... my new stamp got delivered today and it works great! I will be ordering my logo as a stamp too from the same place. (here)

Secondly...I have been illustrating some whales and wings for papercut templates that are to be used in a secret project, and I started making a mock up design too. I will upload photos of the final pieces when cut and explain all about the secret project next week when all the papercuts will be finished and posted to their destination.

{weekend goodness}

I have recently had my business cards printed professionally to save me time and money making individual ones. I usually put only one business card in with my orders from my shop and would usually make it by hand individually for each order, but this will save so much time and money!
