WIP Wednesday - Papercut Leaf Necklaces

Hello!

This week I've been working on an idea that I've been wanting to try for a while...papercut leaf necklaces! I have had these leaf designs for a while and have wanted to adapt them for this purpose for a long time - it's just been one of those things that I have put to the bottom of the to do list. Well, on Monday I decided it was time to get them made!

They are now available in the shop here at an affordable introductory price and if you don't want to use them as a necklace you could always make a mobile with them!

I would love to see what you've been working on this week, so why not a leave a comment below with a link we can all visit!

WIP Wednesday

For todays WIP Wednesday post I've been working on creating a papercut design to be lasercut at Duke Studios - who I will post more about early next week. This will be the first of my designs that I will try out on a laser cutting machine, so I hope it works out and that I've done it right!

This design is made up of several leaves in a circular shape, with extra dots and spots added in between the leaves. As this is the first time I have created something for a lasercutter I don't know if this is too detailed or if little bits will get cut off, but I will let you know how it works out....now, it's time to finish it off and I will upload photos of it as soon as it's been cut out.

weekend goodness

Hello - I hope you're having a nice weekend!

Me and Toby were ill all day yesterday and so I didn't go into work at Muji...but that gave me a chance to have some time to draw. These are just a few quick sketches of leaves - that I had drawn in my second year of university - and I have been editing them to turn them into papercut templates.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Eloise loves all things patterned & decorative and creates such beautiful imagery, with amazing attention to detail - not to mention such tasteful colour palettes. Each image can be clicked to visit her Etsy shop where you will be spoilt for choice (my favourite prints are the leaf based beauties!)
