Feature Friday - Cookie Cutter

This weeks Feature Friday is Cookie Cutter

Sandy from Cookie Cutter creates plushies made from Japanese cotton & linen and they each have their own little personalities! I love the mixture and use of fabrics with the cute, playful designs. Plus she makes an amazing cushion with a notepad design!

All images can be clicked to take you to the Cookie Cutter Etsy shop and to keep up to date with new designs you can click the following links to visit her blog or follow Cookie Cutter on Facebook/Twitter.

Thursday Finds - Uguisu

Today's Thursday Finds are all from Uguisu. If you plan to visit the Uguisu website, I suggest you set some time aside because you will be there a while - looking over the beautiful images and amazingly interesting products! All the images can be clicked to take you directly to the listings in the Uguisu shop, then once you've finished filling your furoshiki with lovely Japanese goods, why not head over to the Uguisu blog!

Monday Morning

Good Morning!

Today I will be sending emails, sorting out a PDF catalogue of all the Mr Yen products - to send to prospective stockists (if this is you, get in touch and I will gladly send you one when they are ready to go!) and sorting out the next Mr Yen Newsletter (you can sign up here to receive it)

I'm also going to try and get outside with Toby at some point today to enjoy this summer weather!

I will leave you with a video/song that I found yesterday!

Hope you have a productive Monday!

{weekly update}

This is the first in a series of four posts I will do as a trial run through February. I will be posting some inspirational photos, links, some of my own photos, blogs that are new to me and using this post as a way to remember all the bookmarks I make on my computer in a more useful way, instead of them just remaining bookmarks!

[all images can be clicked to take you to their source and are all property of the photographers, designers, bloggers etc]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first thing I will mention is a blog that I found recently and have totally fallen for - youcanmakeiteasy. This blog is created by Aron L. and in his own words is:

"A blog to share wonderful pictures, beautiful music, amazing people, inspiring art, moving words, and worthy thoughts that help to make my life seem so much easier."

The photos are amazing and have such great qualities, such as the lighting, colours and feeling.

A blog I found through the blog mentioned above is tokyoconnection.blogspot.com which has more great photographs!

and a final blog that has also caught my eye is the blue hour that is by Brian Ferry. Great photography, a good read and some great links posted.

I also bought myself a new print (the image below)- The Sleepyheads Crowd Print, from here, by Christopher David Ryan, it just needs to be framed and hung.

.......and finally, (those who follow me on twitter will already know this) My dissertation is finally finished, printed and ready to be bound and handed in! I'm so relieved that it's all finally finished!

weekend goodness

I love the feeling this advert has. There are a whole series of these adverts and some are even themed for the seasons.

After visiting Japan, these make me really reminiscent of the lifestyle & culture.
